Overview

A thirty-second film about what we see before we know anything. Sake Tattoo is one of Greece's most established tattoo studios. The brief was to create a piece of content that communicated something true about tattoo culture without being a portfolio showcase.

The Insight

The split-second
read of a stranger.

Tattooed people are judged before they speak. That moment of judgment, the split-second read of a stranger, is the exact space where Sake Tattoo lives. We built the film around that moment.

The 2D illustrated format was a deliberate choice. Animation lets you slow a moment down, stretch the beat of a glance into something the viewer can feel. The story follows a single encounter and the assumption that almost goes wrong.

No studio. No crew. Released organically.

The Challenge

Content that
means something.

Tattoo studios typically lead with portfolio content: the work, the artists, the flash. Sake Tattoo wanted something different. A film that spoke to the culture around tattooing, not just the craft. The challenge was making that resonate in thirty seconds.

The Result

Organic reach.
Zero spend.

44,000 views, 1,069 likes, 202 shares and 80 reposts in the first 24 hours with no paid distribution. The film sparked conversation across Greece about judgment, appearance, and what we assume before we know the full story.
